The story of every lantern is unique, just like yours and mine.

This collection includes all three novellas, Lantern, Beacon, and Torch.

Tori discovers a lantern that shines for her and nobody else. Is it a ghost or a living being that must be set free?

Serah unseals a globe made of Celestial Glass. Does success bring her happiness or create more trouble than it's worth?

Evelyn meets Graham after attending a party where a lantern burns out. Who lights the way to pull the other through?

Experience three different stories, all with a connection to a mysterious lamp maker.

What does the lantern signify?
By Author Chess Sesalls

I love this question, almost as much as I dread answering it. I have a particular interpretation in mind, but one of my favorite bits of feedback was from a reader who said Lantern could be interpreted many ways. Depending on the reader’s background, experiences, spirituality, and imagination, the lanterns could represent many things. So could Machin.

Therefore, I’m hesitant to tell you what the lanterns are and what they mean to me. I don’t want to ruin the story for anyone who hasn’t read the collection, and I don’t want to influence readers’ own special interpretations. However, I’m very open to individual feedback through email and Facebook messages. If you and your followers would like to discuss your thoughts in the comments below, I’m certainly happy to read them.
