My Daughter’s Keeper tugs on the heartstrings of any parent who has endured the pain and challenges of co-parenting, custody disputes, or separated families. Written with accountability and compassion, this book has been crafted to challenge readers to consider the ways our circumstances, including the painful ones, set us up to develop into better versions of ourselves.

Fun Facts About Author

How long have you been writing?
I started writing young. I never thought about getting published until I wrote My Daughter’s Keeper. Because of my openness and willingness to be vulnerable while writing this book, I felt like an authentic writer with something to say.

Do you ever get writer’s block? What helps you overcome it?
While writing My Daughter’s Keeper, I did experience some writer’s block. What I did to move pass those moments was to walk away from the manuscript and go out and reconnect with the energy of life. That reconnection often helped to remind me why I choose to write this book and reinfused my creative energy.

If you could go back in time, where would you go?
I love the 1960’s. Even though there was so much upheaval in this country and really around the world, there was also so much creative energy reverberating around. I love reading, listening to the music, and watching documentaries about and from that time period.

What’s the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?
Honestly, writing and publishing this book, a book that displayed many of my flaws and fears, was the most courageous thing I’ve done thus far.

If there is one thing you want readers to remember about you, what would it be?
I am a father, a courageous, flawed, joyful and most of all, loving father.
